Our story

A specialist trade, close to Roswell

Darrin Straub founded Advanced Stucco Repair in 1999 with a clear idea of the job: when a stucco or EIFS facade fails, the cause is almost always water, and the repair has to deal with the whole wall, not only the surface. That idea has guided the company for more than twenty-five years, and it is the reason we diagnose before we quote.

Our focus is narrow on purpose. We survey and water test facades, replace damaged sheathing, correct flashing at roof-to-wall transitions and openings, replace sealant and expansion joints, restore EIFS and Dryvit, install new stucco and EIFS, and match color and texture across full elevations. Today that work is for commercial and multifamily clients: property managers, condo and HOA boards, owners, asset managers and general contractors.

For Roswell properties, that means a contractor who understands what the city’s office parks, retail centers and multifamily communities were built with, who can write a scope a board or asset manager can act on, and who plans the work so tenants, diners and residents keep using the property while it is done. We call that the ASR standard.

The ASR standard

What you can expect on every building

From a single leaking storefront to a full condominium recoat, the same six commitments apply.

Diagnose before we cut

Moisture readings at windows, joints and parapets, plus water testing where the leak path is unclear, so the scope matches the real damage.

Readings, not guesswork

Fix the water path

We correct the failed sealant, flashing or termination that let water in, so the same elevation does not need the same repair again.

Cause closed, not covered

Scopes boards can approve

Photos, readings and an itemized scope by elevation that separates urgent water intrusion from cosmetic work, with phasing options for budgets and reserves.

Written and itemized

Work around occupants

Phased elevations, open entrances and noisy work scheduled around tenants, residents and business hours.

Occupied-building planning

Build it in the right layers

Sheathing, weather barrier, flashing, lath, base and finish installed and lapped in order, with proper cure time between coats.

Correct from the studs out

Match the facade

Custom pigment and aggregate blends, sample areas for approval, and recoats corner to corner where a patch would show.

Color & texture matched
How we work

From site walk to finished facade

Every commercial project follows the same three steps, so managers, boards and owners know what is happening and why.

Site walk & survey

We walk the elevations with you, review leak reports and past repairs, and take moisture readings at the details that fail first.

  • Leak reports reviewed
  • Readings by elevation
  • Photo documentation

Written scope & quote

You receive an itemized scope by elevation, with repair and recoat options and a phasing plan that fits budgets, reserves and approvals.

  • Itemized by elevation
  • Urgent vs. cosmetic
  • Phasing options

Phased repair & finish

Crews work elevation by elevation, replace wet substrate, correct flashing and sealants, and finish with a matched color and texture.

  • Access & safety planned
  • Daily cleanup
  • Matched finish

In our clients’ words

Long-term clients on what it is like to work with Advanced Stucco Repair on stucco repair and water intrusion work.

★★★★★
“We had a section of our wall that was crumbling, and I was worried the repairs would stand out. Not only did they fix the issue, but they matched the color and texture so perfectly that I honestly can’t tell where the damage was.”

Where we work

From Canton to Roswell

Roswell is part of our regular North Fulton service area, along with the cities around it.

Canton and Roswell are both part of the northern arc of Metro Atlanta, so Roswell properties are a routine trip for our crews and estimators, not a special one. We work across the whole city: the historic district around Canton Street and the Roswell Mill, the retail and office corridors along Holcomb Bridge Road and Alpharetta Highway, and the office buildings near GA 400. The same envelope problems show up across North Fulton, and knowing them well is what lets us find leaks quickly and price repairs accurately.

Since 1999

More than twenty-five years of stucco and EIFS work across Georgia.
